How I define a good movie:
If it gives you a good/postive reaction to what you've seen and you feel satisfied as the movie finishes.
My other time waster is the Bruce Lee film marathon, gotta love DVDs. Man the plots were the basic avenge *insert friend/master/family member here* because s/he were killed by *insert stereotypical chinese villan here (i.e. druglords, evil kungfu masters, crackers)*. Even with the simple plots though the movies offer so much to the viewer, seriously the action's great, the drama's kinda shallow but its relatable and unexagerrated making it a good quality since people watch these kinds of films to watch people get their ass kicked and yes Bruce Lee finds humorous ways to kick the asses of the pawns of the *insert stereotypical chinese villan here (i.e. druglords, evil kungfu masters, crackers)* which makes his films a joy to watch. it's sickens me to see that our neighbors ACROSS the street have electricity and our fucking subdivision has none. This forced me to seek refuge in my "dorm" in ortigas just to type this shit out.
Yesterday:
Powerplay officially sucks it hangs more than C3 has crappier mice and keyboards than gamefrog and the PCs themselves are worse than in gamefrog so if you're going to play in a lan shop, avoid PowerPlay
After me and the lonely crew + + JC + dwit and special guest karlo got sick of the crappy PCs in powerplay we went out in search of better places to play in. Sadly, the entire greenhills area still had no electricity. (Powerplay is attached to the ortigas grid). So after giving up at area 51 we just ate at Tapa King with an annoying generator outside of it.
After eating in Tapa King Ralph, JC and I watched DOA since there's nothing better to see in the movies (Greenhills focused all their generators to their movie houses). The movie in itself was dull, stupid and a bit unentertaining. Just like the DOA games where your head just bobs up and dow to keep track of the tits. But watching it with a group of guys made it fun and OMFG Helena *dies*. But seriously the movie was so fucked up, the flow sucked ass, some twists in the story were what the fuck, the plot was predictable even with the wtf twists ALL the dialogue was BLAND. I won't complain though laughed my ass off from JC/Ralph's comments on the movie and as I said before. Helena *shivers*
Thank God I went out yesterday if I didn't I would've gone insane... so lonely no one was repping and shit :(
